Procurement/ Purchase Assistant (construction)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and property management supplies. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely deliveries. Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Monitor stock levels and support inventory management activities. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining vendor relationships. Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and property managers to understand material requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards. Provide administrative support to the procurement team as required.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree/diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field (preferred). 1-2 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in construction or property management. Basic understanding of procurement procedures and supply chain management. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
