Preparation and verification of all payments in accordance with contract documentation and deliveries.
Ensuring compliance of procurement with Global Communities finance and accounting standard operating procedures and donor requirements as necessary. Save files properly.
Assist in the preparation of procurement plans and tenders under the direction of the Senior Procurement Manager and in coordination with program managers and technical staff. Organization of evaluations in cooperation with the procurement committee at both local and international levels.
Regular market research, evaluation according to procurement needs and SOPs.
Close cooperation with technical departments to ensure timely and effective procurement and transportation of items and equipment provided for by the project.
Requirements:
Negotiation and problem solving skills.
Communication skills.
Excellent command of Excel and other database programs.
Computer/text skills and standard office software.
Flexibility, willingness to carry out assignments and additional duties, and work irregular working hours in potentially dangerous conditions.
High analytical and reporting skills.
