OWS Automotive, a leading automotive service and solutions provider in the UAE, is looking for a proactive and experienced

Procurement Officer

to manage both

international and local purchasing

operations. The ideal candidate must have

experience in the UAE automotive industry

and a strong understanding of procurement practices and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete procurement cycle including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing parts, tools, and materials Handle international and local purchases with a focus on

automotive spare parts and services

Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate quotations, and ensure cost-effective procurement Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers Maintain proper records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications Ensure timely procurement to avoid disruptions in workshop or inventory operations Coordinate with the store, finance, and service teams for stock availability and budgeting Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality or delivery Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and alternative sourcing options Comply with company policies and UAE regulations for procurement activities

Requirements:

Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as a

Procurement or Purchasing Officer in the UAE automotive industry

Strong knowledge of

automotive spare parts, tools, and consumables

Experience in both

international and local sourcing

Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (ERP knowledge is a plus) Attention to detail and ability to multitask Fluent in English (Arabic/Hindi is an advantage)
