Procurement Officer / Manager
Overview:
A Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing the goods and services an organization needs to operate. They aim to acquire high-quality products at the best possible price, while also ensuring reliable supply and building strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews.
• Analyze market and delivery trends to anticipate material availability and pricing.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., inventory control, finance) to determine their needs.
• Resolve any issues with invoices, orders, or deliveries.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and financial skills.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
