to manage and oversee all purchasing activities related to materials, subcontractors, and services. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a thorough understanding of the UAE fit-out market and procurement procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials, finishes, furniture, and services required for fit-out projects.
Review project drawings and BOQs to determine material requirements and lead times.
Prepare and issue RFQs, compare quotations, and prepare commercial comparison sheets for management approval.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Maintain and update procurement records, price lists, and supplier databases.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for value engineering.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum
5-8 years of procurement experience
in the
UAE fit-out/interior contracting industry
.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and suppliers related to interior and joinery works.
Proven experience in vendor negotiation, comparison analysis, and contract management.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, or similar).
UAE Driving License is an advantage.
