Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer cum Quantity Estimator with strong logistics and inventory management experience. The ideal candidate will manage the procurement cycle, ensure accurate material cost estimation for projects, and oversee logistics and inventory to support timely project execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quantity take-offs. Develop detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQ). Collaborate with the engineering and project teams during the planning and bidding stages. Source and purchase materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-efficiency. Track purchase orders and delivery timelines to meet project schedules. Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to job sites. Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability. Manage warehouse operations, stock records, and material movement logs. Implement inventory control systems to reduce waste and ensure accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Accounting, or a related field. With 2 - 3 years' experience in procurement, quantity surveying, and inventory control (preferably in the construction or engineering industry). Familiarity with logistics operations and warehouse/inventory systems. Proficient in MS Office Knowledge in AutoCAD, and quantity estimation tools (preferred but not mandatory) Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
