Job Description

We are seeking a

proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer

to manage project-based procurement activities for our construction operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sourcing construction materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project schedules and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements Request, review, and evaluate supplier quotations; prepare comparison sheets and issue Purchase Orders (LPOs) Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with local and international suppliers Coordinate closely with project managers and site engineers to ensure timely availability of materials at site Track purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure compliance with agreed timelines Maintain and regularly update supplier databases, purchase records, and contractual documentation Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures Handle procurement for subcontracted works when required Assist in supplier evaluation and performance reviews

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum

5 years of UAE experience

in procurement within a construction or contracting company Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment Proficient in

MS Office

and procurement or ERP systems Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Familiarity with UAE suppliers and customs/import regulations is an advantage
