: Procurement Officer
Location: Musaffah, Abu Dhabi
Department: Supply Chain / Operations
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager / Procurement Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven procurement of all materials and services required for manufacturing and project execution. This role is critical to maintaining our supply chain integrity, supporting project timelines, and contributing to the company's profitability and reputation for quality.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Supplier Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for aluminum profiles, glass, glazing materials, sealants, hardware, and other facade system components.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits.
  • Purchasing & Order Processing:
  • Process purchase requests and raise Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best total cost of ownership.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting:
  • Work closely with the project management and estimating teams to understand material requirements and budgets.
  • Actively seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and prices for key commodities.
  • Logistics & Coordination:
  • Coordinate with the logistics team and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials to the workshop or project site.
  • Track orders and proactively resolve any delays or issues with shipments.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team for material receipt and inspection.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including POs, quotations, supplier agreements, and certifications.
  • Ensure all materials meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist in resolving any invoice or payment discrepancies with the finance department.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the aluminum/glass, construction, or manufacturing industry in the UAE.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and international trade terms (Incoterms).
  • Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel is essential) and experience with ERP software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
