Our client is a well-established food production organization specializing in bakery and meat products.

We are hiring a UAE experienced procurement manager to join their Dubai operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing cost and inventory of raw materials and packaging for operational efficiency and profit growth.

Candidates must have experience of ethical and legally compliant vendor sourcing, contract and vendor management.

Role Summary

• Source vendors, prepare and evaluate RFPs, conduct first round negotiations for raw materials and food packaging.

• Negotiate contracts for the best quality, price, payment terms and delivery.

• Build strong supplier relationships \xe2\x80\x93 supplier performance evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

• Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for product development innovation and process improvement.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function \xe2\x80\x93 identify opportunities for process optimization, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 7 - 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 UAE procurement experience of raw materials and packaging for food FMCG / food production with a deep understanding of all aspects of food packaging and labeling, quality and safety.

• Strong financial and commercial acumen to optimize contract negotiation, supplier performance and management and value creation through quality improvement and cost savings.

• Analysis and reporting of vendor performance.

• Forward thinking focusing on vendor selection and diversity, sustainability and mitigating risks to optimize delivery time, quality and cost.

• Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain with a specific focus on forecasting and demand planning to ensure consistent on time delivery.

• Proficient use of MS Excel and Microsoft Teams.

Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is mandatory

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must live and work in Dubai.

• Fluent in English.

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
