Our client is a multi-award-winning Emirati brand that specializes in beauty and wellbeing. We are looking for a Procurement Manager \xef\xbb\xbfto join their team.

Key Responsibilities: * Strategic Procurement:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet the organization\'s goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable terms for the organization.
  • Monitor supplier performance.
  • Cost Control:
  • Optimize procurement processes to achieve cost savings while maintaining product or service quality.
  • Manage budgets and expenses related to procurement activities.
  • Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies, including bulk buying, negotiations, and supplier consolidation.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulations that may impact procurement activities.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise, train, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
  • Set performance goals and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory levels to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare reports on procurement performance, cost savings.
  • Analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and improvements in the procurement process.
  • Set MINI-MAX per SKU
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, business administration.
  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role( preferable beauty industry )
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems.( SAP )
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
