Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
  • Prepares reports and summarize data including purchased report and book value.
  • Schedules store visits and conduct competitor survey.
  • Executes and monitors of all regular purchasing duties.
  • Coordinates with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
  • Handles and monitors of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
  • Supports relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.
  • Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Source, selects and negotiates for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
  • Purchases and issue order in accordance to specification.
  • Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises.
  • Trains and directs the work of purchasing assistants or new staffs as needed.
