We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team for a building construction project. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the Oman market, a strong understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to source materials and services efficiently.

Procurement Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
Identify and source quality materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor list.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify competitive pricing, availability, and quality of construction materials and equipment.
Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and best practices in Oman's construction sector.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and Oman regulations.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and budgets.
Logistics and Coordination:
Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials to ensure project requirements are met.
Work closely with project managers and engineers to address procurement-related issues.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Resolve conflicts or discrepancies in procurement processes.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of procurement experience in Oman, preferably in the construction industry.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
License:
Valid Oman driving license is mandatory.
Full-time position based on-site or at the project location.
Involves frequent travel within Oman for supplier meetings and inspections.
