We are looking for Procurement Manager with Civil Engineering background that can JOIN IMMEDIATELY. Job description and resposibilities: 1. Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company. 2. Receive and check purchase orders from different company\'s departments and projects with accordance to the approved systems and procedures, issue purchase orders, ensure the compliance with needs plans and approved budgets, submit them to the line manager for approval and follow its implementation in collaboration with Procurement Department. 3. Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality. 4. Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements. 5. Produces Materials Schedules with required lead times for take-off, quotation, cost appraisal, and P.O with delivery periods. 6. Receives Purchase Request. 7. Reviews Purchase Orders, follows up and ensures timely purchase and arrival of goods. 8. Scrutinizes the specifications of material and approvals on requisitions. 9. Make monthly and weekly reports about work done and purchase orders not implemented and delayed explaining the reason of delay and submit them to Manager. 10. Assess cost effectiveness of products and track actual costs relative to budget and report status on a regular basis to ensure costs are in line with forecasts 11. Collects and analyzes all project costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment and tooling to ensure estimates are accurate. 12. Identifies and quantifies potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. Updates costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. Qualification:
Civil Engineering Background.
Atleast 10 years experience
experience in main contracting (General Contracting ) Company
must have Experience in contracts and payment terms and conditions.
Must have experience in ERP system.
Analyze technical data and specifications to determine the equipment needed for projects.
valuate equipment suppliers and negotiate purchasing agreements for equipment
Devise, implement and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets
Administer supplier and vendor contracts
Ensure that purchases comply with commercial, legal and contractual obligations
Communicate with stakeholders regarding the nature and function of purchased equipment.
