JOB DESCRIPTION

Devise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies
Finalize details of orders and deliveries
Examine and re-evaluate existing contracts
Develop and maintain effective logistic-related relationships
Ensure that the highest possible professional standards are maintained in relation to confidentiality, probity and ethical conduct.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
Coordinate logistics activities related to procurement
Develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements and deployment timelines for each contract
Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans
Ensure accountable, timely and cost-effective logistics plan

DESIRED SKILLS:

Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
Meticulously attentive to details
Extensive knowledge on INCO terms, shipping regulations and clearance procedures
With experience in Air, Sea and Road Logistics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of the principles of effective negotiation.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and clients.
Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to identify issues, think laterally and develop appropriate strategies.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks for self to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively
With Advanced level of computer skills
