Procurement Lead - Packing Materials

Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays Off)

About the Role

We are a leading food manufacturing factory based in Dubai Industrial City and are looking to hire a Procurement Lead - Packing Materials to join our team immediately.

This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted supply of all packing materials for production while maintaining cost competitiveness, quality standards, and supplier reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement of all packing materials, including: Laminates Labels Cartons PET Bottles Source, evaluate, and maintain competitive packing material suppliers in the UAE Negotiate pricing, lead times, call-offs, and commercial terms with suppliers Create and manage Purchase Orders in SAP based on requirements from the Supply Chain Planner Run MRP to ensure timely availability of packing materials Coordinate closely with the Supply Chain Planner on packing material requirements Coordinate with Warehouse Inventory Control on packing material delivery schedules and inbound planning Coordinate with suppliers on call-offs to align deliveries with production plans Coordinate with QC on any packing material quality issues, rejections, and corrective actions Maintain, control, and organize SAP PM Codes and packing material master data Participate in new packing material development and innovation with the R&D team Conduct supplier follow-ups, visits, and issue resolution as required

Required Skills & Experience

Strong working knowledge of packing materials (laminates, labels, cartons, PET bottles) Proven experience working with packing material suppliers in the UAE Hands-on experience using SAP Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong coordination skills across Supply Chain, Warehouse, QC, and R&D teams Ability to work independently in a fast-paced factory environment

Mandatory Requirements

Valid UAE Driving License Own vehicle Ability to work from Dubai Industrial City
