As part of the BRF Procurement team, support the Procurement Category Leader for Corporate Services towards negotiation for HR, IT, Admin, Marketing, Legal and Compliance and different type of supplementary stuff in close collaboration with the main stakeholders in the GCC (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar), international Markets ; and Global procurement team
Support defining short, middle and long term commercial Corporate Services strategy for our operations across the region.
  • Support the Procurement Category Leader defining commercial strategy towards S&IM Regional categories in close collaboration with key stakeholders. Ensure supplying and performance for the region with the best cost comparing to the market complying with the agreed specification and SLA?s.
  • Develop alternative suppliers in order to reduce cost according to quality standards and operation defined criteria
  • Perform continuous analysis about the global and local market, economical changes and all related drivers to increase the decision quality in procurement strategies to create a sustainable competitive advantage to BRF
  • Support procurement role to create short-mid-long term strategies and budgeting process of S&IM under his/her responsibility.
  • Support procurement role in improvement projects such as: Increasing Payment terms / Managing e-auctions or regular negotiations / Improving Alternative suppliers/sources
  • Developing alternative solutions to save money and improve process and product quality.
  • Get quotation / negotiate with suppliers / validate with Stakeholders / approve negotiation as per Policy / Create PO and contract / Follow up delivering / treat divergences;
  • Be guardian of Procurement Policy in the region;
  • Contract management;
  • Risk management;
  • Develop and maintain supply contingency plan in place;
  • Create and manage database for procurement - Targets and results / Budget and updated forecast prices
  • Take active role in master data management for procurement processes;
  • Provide periodical reports and presentations for the managerial level of company

  • Strong understanding of processes, procedures and policies of contract reviews in FMCG
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Debate convincingly and achieve a consensus among colleagues and third parties.
  • Team player, able to meet tight deadlines and to manage a challenging workload
Requirements
  • Degree in business administration of any related field
  • 3 years experience in Procurement
  • 1-3 years experience to negotiate Corporate / Professional Services (Indirect S&M) preferably in FMCG .
  • Economic / Engineer / Business Background / CIPS is preferable
  • Fluent in English - Arabic, is preferable but not a must
  • Solid knowledge / background of Middle East Market
  • Being familiar with budget, cost, finance mathematics
  • Negotiation skills / Project analysis/ strategic thinking
  • Expertise in the tools of Strategic Sourcing and related concepts (TCO-Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Development, Market Research etc.)
  • Experience in
    • ERP (SAP / ARIBA) ? Procurement (MM).
    • Contract Management
    • MSOffice applications (Excel, PP etc)
