Role Overview

We are looking for a diligent and experienced

Procurement Executive - Materials

to join our procurement team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of construction and project-related materials required for our environmental and infrastructure projects.

This role is essential in ensuring that materials are procured cost-effectively, delivered on time, and meet the technical and quality standards required for our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure materials including construction supplies, electrical items, plumbing fixtures, safety gear, consumables, and project-specific equipment Communicate with vendors to collect quotations, catalogues, and product specifications Conduct evaluations of supplier quotations in terms of cost, quality, and compliance with project requirements Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, and warehouse staff to understand and fulfill material requirements Track material deliveries and follow up on delayed or incomplete shipments Assist in inventory monitoring and stock level reporting to avoid shortages Ensure materials comply with relevant project specifications, standards, and certifications Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors Work in alignment with internal procurement policies and budgetary controls

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the

construction or environmental engineering

sector Strong understanding of

construction materials, MEP supplies, and project logistics

Excellent

negotiation, vendor management

, and communication skills Ability to read technical specifications and collaborate with engineering teams Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience using procurement systems/software is a plus Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline

Fluency in English is mandatory; Chinese language skills are a strong advantage

Holding a valid UAE driving license is preferable
