About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Executive to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement activities to ensure a seamless supply of materials essential for our fast-paced FMCG operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in FMCG procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for driving efficiency and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Supplier Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage contract compliance.
  • Purchase Order Management:
  • Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Track orders and follow up with suppliers on any delays or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the planning and warehouse teams to align procurement with production schedules.
  • Cost Negotiation & Budget Control:
  • Lead price negotiations to achieve the best possible cost, quality, and service terms.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
  • Assist in managing the procurement budget and reporting on cost variances.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Work closely with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Monitor market trends and anticipate potential supply chain risks or disruptions.
  • Implement strategies for inventory reduction and improved inventory turnover.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Utilize procurement software and systems to analyze spending data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement metrics, savings achieved, and supplier performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Marketing, to ensure procured materials meet all specifications and requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Mandatory: 2-3 years of proven experience as a Procurement Executive/Officer or in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
