The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of civil materials, subcontractors, and services required for construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, project requirements, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, source, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for civil construction materials and services
Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
Coordinate with the engineering, planning, and project execution teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier pricing
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Conduct regular supplier audits and maintain strong vendor relationships
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
8-10 years of proven experience as a Procurement Engineer (Civil) in the UAE
In-depth knowledge of UAE construction procurement practices
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory
