Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and proficient Procurement Engineer/Buyer to join our team in UAE.
The Procurement Engineer/Buyer will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement process, sourcing materials and equipment, and negotiating contracts to support our projects effectively.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years' experience in procurement and supply activities, with extensive expertise in materials procurement for large petrochemical and heavy industrial projects. Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings in a dynamic project environment. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to assess supplier/vendor capabilities and negotiate favourable terms and conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Administration, or closely related field.
