Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and proficient Procurement Engineer/Buyer to join our team in UAE.
The Procurement Engineer/Buyer will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement process, sourcing materials and equipment, and negotiating contracts to support our projects effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in procurement and supply activities, with extensive expertise in materials procurement for large petrochemical and heavy industrial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings in a dynamic project environment.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to assess supplier/vendor capabilities and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Administration, or closely related field.
