Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for high-rise building projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budget, and schedule. The candidate must also have strong post-contract Quantity Surveyor (QS) experience to support cost control, contract administration, and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review construction drawings, project specifications, and BOQs to identify material and subcontract requirements. Prepare and float RFQs to approved suppliers and subcontractors; analyze commercial and technical comparisons. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions to ensure best value. Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements in line with company policies and project requirements. Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Maintain and update procurement logs/material tracking sheets. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor list. Assist in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and value engineering proposals. Perform post-contract QS duties, including: Verification of supplier/subcontractor invoices and material claims Preparation of material cost reports and cost-to-complete forecasts Handling variation orders and commercial correspondence Supporting contract administration and dispute resolution when required Coordinate closely with Planning, Engineering, and Site Teams to align procurement with project progress.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Procurement within the UAE, preferably in

high-rise building projects

. Strong background in

post-contract Quantity Surveying / cost control

. Knowledge of

FIDIC contracts

and local market pricing. Proficiency in

ERP systems / procurement software

. Strong negotiation, commercial awareness, and communication skills.

Preferred:

Previous experience with

contractors or developers in Dubai

. Ability to join immediately or within short notice.
