Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified, proactive Procurement Officer/Procurement Engineer to oversee all material sourcing, supplier coordination, and purchasing activities for our construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building contracting, strong knowledge of construction materials, and hands-on experience with local suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement procedures in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers for construction materials, tools, and equipment.

2- Review technical drawings, BOQs, and material specifications to ensure accurate material procurement as per project requirements.

3- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) and compare supplier quotations for quality, price, and delivery terms.

4- Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and supplier database.

5- Coordinate closely with project engineers, site teams, and project managers to ensure

the

timely delivery of required materials.

6- Monitor and control material delivery schedules to avoid project delays.

7- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and UAE regulations.

8- Liaise with accounts and logistics departments for payment follow-up and delivery coordination.

9- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Quality Standards in all procurement activities.

10- Support cost control initiatives by ensuring best value procurement without compromising on quality.

Requirements:

1- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

2- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in procurement within a construction or contracting company.

3- Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, MEP items, and supplier networks in the UAE market.

4- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

5- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (knowledge of Odoo, SAP, or similar platforms is a plus).

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
