We are seeking a qualified Procurement Engineer / Officer with strong experience in the UAE contracting sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling purchasing activities, supplier negotiation, and ensuring timely procurement of materials according to project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of materials and services in line with UAE contracting practices.
Evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and issue RFQs and LPOs.
Coordinate with project teams to meet material requirements and delivery schedules.
Ensure all materials comply with project specifications and UAE standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and follow internal purchasing procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the UAE, preferably in contracting companies.
Strong knowledge of construction-related materials and suppliers.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
