About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Procurement/Purchasing Engineer to join our growing team in the construction industry. You'll play a key role in ensuring our projects have everything they need--on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Source and purchase construction materials, equipment, and services to meet the needs of our ongoing projects. Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to make sure everything arrives as expected. Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to get the best deals while ensuring quality and reliability. Build and maintain a strong list of trusted suppliers to keep our projects moving smoothly. Keep track of inventory levels and make sure we always have what we need without overstocking. Create purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure everything is in place when needed. Collaborate with project teams to find the most cost-effective ways to meet their procurement needs. Solve any procurement issues quickly to keep projects on track. Help prepare reports and documents related to procurement for both internal and external stakeholders. Make sure we're always following the right processes, regulations, and standards for procurement.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years

of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the

construction industry.

BE (Bachelor of Engineering) qualification

Strong understanding of procurement processes, materials management, and construction industry requirements. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software/tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

Experience working on large-scale construction projects. Additional certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or project management (CIPS, PMP, etc.).

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
