Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for civil utility projects.
Maintain and expand a strong supplier network to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to forecast material requirements.
Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement records.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and UAE regulations.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project timelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
3-5 years of procurement experience in civil utility projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of local suppliers and an established supplier network.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in procurement software and MS Office.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
