Job Description

We are seeking a

Procurement Engineer

with experience in civil projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract management in civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements across civil, building, and infrastructure works. Prepare, issue, and manage Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and evaluate their responses. Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services related to substation, building, excavation, and finishing works. Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery. Prepare, issue, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure accurate and timely procurement. Track delivery schedules for civil project materials and coordinate with suppliers to avoid delays. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify procurement needs throughout different construction phases. Address and resolve procurement-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and services used in civil and infrastructure projects. UAE experience is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/tools.
