Job Description

Job Purpose

To support the daily operations of the company by managing local procurement tasks, coordinating workforce sourcing, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and manpower to project sites. The role involves working closely with the procurement, admin, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers to procure materials, tools, and consumables as per project requirements.

Coordinate with the procurement manager to ensure price comparisons and cost-effective purchasing.

Follow up on purchase orders, delivery timelines, and ensure quality and quantity of goods received.

Maintain records of purchased items and delivery schedules.

Worker & Site Coordination

Source and arrange workers for site activities as per project demand, in coordination with the project manager or site engineer.

Arrange transportation and timely movement of labor to and from sites.

Support site team in fulfilling urgent on-site material or tool requirements.

Logistics & Support

Assist with the transportation and delivery of goods to site when required.

Act as the point of contact between office, suppliers, and site teams.

Ensure all safety and company compliance protocols are followed during procurement and site coordination activities.

Administrative Tasks

Prepare and maintain procurement logs and vendor contact lists.

Submit expense claims and fuel records for purchases and transportation duties.

Coordinate with accounts team for invoice collection and payment follow-ups from suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement/logistics or site coordination (can include field-based growth within the company).

Good knowledge of local suppliers, material types, and pricing in UAE.

Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).

Strong communication and negotiation skills (English, Arabic, Hindi/Malayalam an advantage).

Ability to multitask and work independently under time constraints.

Familiar with basic documentation and purchase record-keeping.
