Job Description
EDGE CONTRACTING is looking for a
Procurement and Commercial Manager
for the Construction Operation in the UAE.The Candidate will be based in the Head Office in Dubai.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in similar field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services
- Implement the Procurement strategies, policies, and procedures as set by EDGE QMS.
- Prepare Packages and issue Request for Proposals for the Approved Sub-contractors.
- Prepare the Bid tabulation and issue the Proper coordination.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, issue LPOS and manage relationships
- Coordinate with project teams, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and company policies
- Manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction procurement
- Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations
- Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office
