MAIN JOB PURPOSE The role is responsible to lead Digital Projects end to end from idea stage to implementation across various non-Make Digital Project across the region. As a part of this role, the candidate would partner various Supply chain functio MAIN JOB PURPOSE The role is responsible to lead Digital Projects end to end from idea stage to implementation across various non-Make Digital Project across the region. As a part of this role, the candidate would partner various Supply chain functions and be responsible to design & deliver Digital Solutions. The candidate would additionally partner with Global teams in delivery of key global initiatives around real-time visibility in supply chain. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Responsible for governing execution of projects in line with broader process innovation strategy to reach touchless, automated & Realtime planning. The candidate would proactively engage with various SC Functional leads (Demand/Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Facing teams/CS) to identify key challenges and build medium term process innovation strategy. The candidate would be expected to lead Detailed process mapping (to learn existing planning processes), simplify them, codify them into automated tools/systems and lead deployment. In terms of technical execution, the candidate would be involved in hands on Software design/programming for Process Innovation Initiatives. This means some experience with programming and willingness to learn computer science is a must. Post technical completion, the candidate would liaison with functional leads to deploy the tools and validate the output and have plans in place to maintain/improve them. Liaison with Unilever's global teams and own deployment and adoption of certain global Initiatives (e.g initiatives focusing on building of various Dashboards providing real-time visibility of supply chain KPIs). Proactively learn business processes (e.g S&OE) and tech (Software development) and function as an SME in process innovation, building a community of Digital practitioners. Hence an ideal candidate would be comfortable to manage a wide range of business stakeholders. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred - Electrical/Computer Science or other engineering disciplines with strong academic performance). EXPERIENCED REQUIERD: The ideal candidate should have worked for 3+ years in Technology/Excellence roles that focus on Process Digitalization. Strong Academic results are a plus. The Candidate would have excellent English communication & Stake holder management skills and would have managed complex projects end to end. Some Programming skills/passion to learn new technology are a must, hence a capacity to learn technology on your own is a key expectation.
