The Process and Technology Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company\'s core process capabilities and for identifying and inducting new technologies, keeping in view the company\'s position as a global technology leader.

Purpose of Role (Objectives)

To safeguard the company\'s interests by ensuring that process design offered into the market is capable of meeting the highest performance requirements and achieve full customer satisfaction while meeting the latest industry standards and regulations.

Provide services across various levels of the organisation to ensure that the organisation stays in the forefront of technology capabilities and innovation.

To mentor and empower process engineers by ensuring they receive appropriate training, design tools and design manuals.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Provide technical support to the Sales, Proposals, Engineering and Field Support teams

Ensure all process design is reviewed as per the Company\'s quality requirements.

Responsible for process simulations and calculations meeting project specifications, standards and design codes

Focus on technology improvement and optimisation to avoid technology obsolescence and improve competitiveness.

Participate in technology seminars, connect with industry experts (internal and external) and support establish technology alliances, where needed

Represent the company at HAZOP / SIL and design review meetings.

Address technical queries and comments from clients and 3rd parties

Maintain a design library of relevant design guides, industry standards and software.

Skills and Duties

Have a fundamental technical understanding of the Upstream Oil, Gas and Water treatment process and display a keen interest in the main drivers and technology options for the Energy Transition.

Display extensive technical knowledge spanning process design , process controls and plant safety.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

Degree - Chemical/Process or relevant equivalent

Experience Required

Proven track record of process design and technology development in the Oil & Gas or related process industry.

10-15 years\' relevant industry experience
