Job Description

Oversee customs clearance for all import and export shipments. Liaise with customs authorities at Jebel Ali Port, Port Rashid, DWC, and other relevant locations. Coordinate customs inspections at DAFZA (Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority), container yards, and JAFZA. Prepare and submit required documentation such as Import Permits, Export Declarations, Bills of Entry, Delivery Orders, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin. Utilize Dubai Trade and Mirsal II platforms to manage customs transactions. Stay informed of current tariff codes, customs duties, VAT regulations, and applicable trade laws. Coordinate truck dispatches and manage entry permits and gate passes for vehicle access to JAFZA and other free zones. Assist drivers with customs procedures and gate clearances to ensure timely and smooth operations. Represent the company before Dubai Customs, JAFZA, Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Economy, and other regulatory bodies. Address and resolve customs issues, including shipment holds, penalties, or documentation delays. Maintain organized records of all customs transactions and provide regular updates to management on operational status. Handle petty cash related to PRO duties and ensure all transactions are fully documented and reconciled.
