The Private Cook will be responsible for preparing authentic Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes for the household at the farmhouse. The role requires excellent culinary skills, menu planning, and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation. The cook must ensure all meals are fresh, healthy, and suited to the family's preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook daily meals, focusing on traditional Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine.
Plan menus according to family preferences, seasonal availability, and dietary requirements.
Purchase and manage kitchen supplies, ingredients, and stock levels.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
Prepare meals for family gatherings, special occasions, and guests as requested.
Ensure food is presented attractively and served on time.
Follow proper hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Manage waste and maintain inventory of ingredients efficiently.
Occasionally assist with outdoor BBQs, traditional dishes (e.g., mandi, kabsa, harees, machboos), and desserts.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
Private Cook / Arabic Cuisine Chef
(experience in a private household preferred).
Excellent knowledge of Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes (Lebanese, Emirati, Saudi, etc.).
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and presentation.
High level of hygiene and professionalism.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and adapt to changing family needs.
Basic English or Arabic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in culinary arts (optional but preferred).
Experience cooking in villas, farms, or private households.
Ability to prepare international dishes as an advantage.
