Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Set up and adjust
flexographic printing presses
for each print job based on job specifications. Monitor and adjust printing press settings such as ink density, speed, and pressure to ensure high-quality output. Conduct regular checks of print quality, color accuracy, and registration during production. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the printing press, including paper jams, ink consistency, or alignment problems. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the press to prevent downtime and ensure optimal operation. Adhere to safety and quality control procedures to ensure a safe working environment and meet customer standards. Work closely with the production and quality control teams to address any issues and improve process efficiency.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification in printing or a related field is a plus. 2+ years of experience as a
Flexographic Printing Operator
or in a similar printing role. Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, equipment, and materials. Familiarity with various substrates, inks, and coating processes used in flexographic printing. Strong attention to detail, with an ability to detect and address print defects. Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to make adjustments quickly to maintain production schedules. Ability to work with high-volume printing equipment while maintaining safety standards. * Strong communication and organizational skills.
