We are looking for a reliable and skilled Printer Technician to join our team at a leading office supply company. In this role, you will install, service, and repair printers, copiers, and multifunction devices for our commercial and retail clients. Your work will ensure our customers experience minimal downtime and receive top-quality service for their printing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure printers, copiers, and related equipment at client sites.
Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshoot hardware/software malfunctions.
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning to extend equipment lifespan.
Replace worn or defective parts such as toner, ink cartridges, drums, fusers, and rollers.
Maintain accurate service logs and inventory of spare parts and consumables.
Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional customer service during on-site visits.
Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to recommend upgrades or replacements.
Provide training to clients on basic printer use, care, and troubleshooting.
Stay up to date on the latest printer models and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications (e.g., CompTIA, OEM certifications) are a plus.
1-3 years of experience in printer/copier repair or field service.
Familiarity with major brands (HP, Canon, Xerox, Brother, etc.).
Basic understanding of networking and print drivers.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to client locations.
Work Environment:
Primarily field-based, visiting client offices, with occasional work in our service center.
Requires physical activity such as lifting equipment
Use of company vehicle and tools provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
