Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printer technician to join our team, responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of printing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be proficient in troubleshooting software and hardware issues. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and IT skills to ensure optimal performance of printing systems.

Duties

Operate and monitor printing machines to ensure quality output. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on printing equipment using hand tools. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to printers and associated systems. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose equipment problems effectively. Provide field service support, addressing customer needs on-site as required. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance. Maintain accurate records of service activities and repairs performed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the printing industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and maintain various types of printing equipment. Familiarity with computer hardware, networking, and IT principles related to printing technology. Ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively, ensuring minimal downtime for operations. Experience working with OEM specifications and standards is preferred. Proficient in using hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
