- Knowledge, understanding and application of international codes and standards
- Facilitate interface co-ordination and develop Interface lists and schedules.
Interfaces such as: with Joint Venture Companies, Site, Sub- contractor and package vendors (e.g. Compressors, Package SS etc.) - Able to review project execution contract, scope of work, scope of facilities and various requirements for Discipline scope for project/ proposals
- Contract Review Inputs, resolve technical inconsistencies in the contract
Knowledge and ability to raise Technical and Engineering queries to client. - Possesses knowledge and understanding of project/ engineering planning, in particular: baselines, progress reporting, productivity.
Able to manage discipline resources & deliverables. - Knowledge, understanding and application of the Project Change Request System.
- Knowledge, understanding and application of multi-discipline and satellite office interface requirements
- Knowledge, understanding and application of Line of Sight, Gate Reviews, System Reviews and TA Reviews, Integrity Management & Assurance systems and procedures.
- Ability to participate and lead design reviews (layout, P&IDs, 3D models, material, HAZOP, etc.)
- Knowledge of Safety aspects within assigned design activities and its impact on other disciplines.
- Able to support decision making process for selection criterion.
Able to perform Equipment/ system selection studies. Able to develop required Philosophies and Design Basis from DBM.
Able to Generate and Prepare work scope for EPIC/ Detail Engineering
Able to Carry out optimization studies to further refine the selected concept.
Able to perform FEED verification - Knowledge of Quality Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge, understanding and application of Lessons Learned techniques and Petrofac databases.
- Knowledge and application of Petrofac procurement engineering processes.
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of commercial and contractual aspects relevant to vendors/ subcontractors/ client. Ability to foresee variations.
- Able to identify, assess and manage risks.
- Able to come-up with optimized design solutions, and identify, review & implement new practices, technologies, equipment & materials for reliable and cost-effective solutions.
- Knowledge, understanding and application of the Performance Management system
- Knowledge, understanding and application of the Competency Management system
- Able to plan, induct, develop & administer discipline resources
- Able to lead initiatives to improve cost effectiveness and productivity on the projects and control of manhours against budgeted.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in EPC companies in the Hydrocarbon/Oil and Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical Industry.
- In depth exposure to EPC environments a detailed Engineering projects.
- Knowledge in the use of engineering software interpretation of results.
- In depth knowledge of international standards codes.
- Expert knowledge of international equipment costs.
- Thorough knowledge of Safety and Quality Procedures.
- Capable of leading a group of professionals or technical staff.
- Ability to demonstrate practical decisions making.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Effective group interaction skills and conflict resolution skills
