Advisian is currently seeking to fill the position of Principal Process Engineer for our In-house role to be based in UAE .

Job Specific Knowledge:

• Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment
• Extensive knowledge of Shell DEP's, API Standards (API-520, API-521, API-14C, API-14E) and statutory and regulatory requirements and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to process design for oil and gas/refinery/petrochemical facilities.
• Experience in various phases of project life cycle; feasibility/concept studies, FEED, detail engineering, EPIC.
• Experience in Gas processing, gas treatment, LNG, LPG, gas compression, GTL, refinery, offshore . Experience of leading debottlenecking and revamp studies
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Extensive knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS, PROII, Flarenet
• Proficiency in PFD / P & ID & datasheet development
• Offshore experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in equipment sizing (pumps, vessels, exchangers, etc) and hydraulic calculations.

• Extensive experience in pipeline modeling using Pipesim, pipeline studio, Pipephase, Pipenet is an advantage.

Qualifications

Industry Specific Experience:

• Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 15 years design experience within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years' at least, leading a team of process discipline engineers and designers.
• Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the process discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
