Job Description
JCA Associates are working with one of the Worlds Most Established Advanced Technology companies based in Abu Dhabi who are looking to grow their mechanical engineering team.
The ideal candidate should meet the following experience criteria
The ideal candidate should meet the following experience criteria
- Minimum 8 years with a Bachelors, 7 years with a Masters, or 6 years with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering Design or Analysis preferably in an aerospace or military industry,
- Proven experience in a broad spectrum of mechanical engineering development and manufacturing methods and processes.
- Experience in design and manufacturing of medium and small mechanisms, miniature mechanisms, fine mechanics, and/or stabilized systems.
- Experience in the analysis of mechanisms and fine mechanisms or stabilized systems through theoretical and analytical methods
- Knowledge of lightweight and aerospace materials, including the design, analysis and testing methods associated with them
- Experience in a leadership role with more than 5 reportees.
- A solid understanding of mechanical design principles, drive system layouts, mechanics of materials, and associated manufacturing techniques and technologies
- Proficient in the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (CREO/SolidWorks preferable)
- Knowledge of the use of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software (ANSYS preferable)
- Proficient in the use of computer based mathematical tools (Matlab, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity of Military and Aerospace specific technical requirements e.g. best practice, legislation and regulation, methodologies, systems, third party providers
