Principal Operations Engineer is responsible for interpreting internal and external business issues. Recommend best practices, and will be tasked with solving complex Field Engineering related problems. Will work independently with minimal guidance. Principal Operations Engineer will be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in Field Engineering. In-depth expertise in Field Engineering as well as broad knowledge of the Field Engineering discipline within the Engineering function is required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of field and senior field engineers to ensure the effective and timely execution of installation projects
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities with procurement, construction, and installation phases
Conduct regular project site visits to monitor progress, address any technical issues, and ensure quality control
Develop innovative engineering solutions that align with project specifications, client requirements, and regulatory standards
Oversee the design and optimization of engineering systems, ensuring the feasibility, efficiency, and safety of project deliverables
Conduct thorough technical reviews and provide recommendations to enhance project performance and mitigate risks
Implement industry-leading practices and emerging trends to continuously improve engineering processes and methodologies
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, providing technical expertise and solutions to address their needs
Proactively identify potential challenges or opportunities and communicate them to the project team, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Strive to exceed client expectations by delivering superior quality, technical excellence, and outstanding customer service
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; A master's degree is preferred
10 to 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with Major Contractors or consultant
Proven experience in the EPCI industry, with a focus on engineering functions
Experience in offshore projects will be highly valued
Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in utilizing relevant engineering tools, software, and industry-standard methodologies
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team towards project objectives
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under shorter deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge in Microsoft tools like Word, excel, powerpoint etc.
Knowledge in Auto CAD
