ABSG Consulting is currently seeking to fill the position of Principal HSE-Risk Engineer in the TIV Risk & Reliability Middle East team. This role is to support the delivery of specialist HSE management, process safety management, and operations integrity management systems services. These services shall be delivered to clients for operational assets and also during projects execution \xe2\x80\x93 greenfield and brownfield. This position will provide support for work to be performed across the Middle East region. The role will focus on clients in UAE and KSA but may also involve support to projects elsewhere around the Middle East. Our safety services are intended to provide optimized means for clients to achieve their corporate policies and to reduce/eliminate failures impacting on safety, environment and production. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, an engineering degree, is self-motivated, and willing to be an integral part of the team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of tasks, primarily in an office environment, but should expect to travel to client sites when required.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Principal Engineer shall direct/supervise and deliver work personally in the consultancy services listed below. Interested candidates should have a good understanding of the technical issues fundamental to (as the key priority) the preparation of quantitative consequence and risk assessment studies, and (2) the development, audit, or enhancement or HSE/PSM/OI management systems within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries (and other industries would be an advantage). A strong capability to develop and deliver training to clients will be an advantage. In addition, candidates should have excellent verbal and written English ability to ensure effective deliverables to, and communications with, clients.
