- Develop and implement age-appropriate science curriculum and lesson plans for primary grades, aligned with educational standards and learning objectives.
- Create hands-on and inquiry-based learning experiences to engage students in scientific exploration and discovery.
- Teach fundamental scientific concepts, including life sciences, physical sciences, and earth sciences, using a variety of instructional methods and resources.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to illustrate scientific principles and promote understanding.
- Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, including those with special needs or English language learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and solicit feedback.
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Education, Science, or related field.
- Previous experience teaching science to primary students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of primary science curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners to explore and discover the world around them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to integrate technology and hands-on activities into lessons.
