Position Overview
Leams Education in Dubai is inviting applications for the position of Primary English Coordinator in one of its British curriculum schools. The core purpose of this role is to provide professional, highly effective leadership to achieve outstanding results in the Primary English Department. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining teaching quality, pedagogy, assessment practices, and a strong code of conduct that inspire engagement, achievement, and progress for students of all abilities.

Core Duties

• Provide leadership and guidance to all Primary English teachers under the direction of the Primary Head
• Support curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation to meet British curriculum standards
• Conduct lesson observations, CPD sessions, and assist teachers in using effective instructional strategies
• Mentor teachers through team teaching and coaching to improve classroom practices
• Monitor assessment methods and ensure alignment with school and regulatory standards
• Uphold discipline and foster a positive learning culture among students and staff
• Collaborate with school leadership to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or Education with relevant teaching qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years of leadership or coordination experience in a British curriculum school
• Knowledge and practical understanding of DSIB Inspection Frameworks
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
• Ability to inspire teachers and students to achieve high standards of progress and engagement
