We are a leading technology solutions provider in the UAE, seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. This role is the critical bridge between our sales team and our clients, transforming client needs into technically sound and commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Design:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements (RFP, RFQ) and design optimal, compliant ELV solutions including Structured Cabling, CCTV & Access Control, Public Address & Voice Alarm, Building Management Systems (BMS), and other integrated systems.
Proposal & Tender Management:
Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), schematics, and project documentation. Manage the end-to-end technical response for tenders.
Client Engagement:
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops for clients, consultants, and contractors. Articulate the value proposition clearly and effectively.
System Costing & Estimation:
Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and services, ensuring proposals are both competitive and profitable.
Vendor & Partner Liaison:
Work closely with technology vendors (e.g., Siemens, Bosch, Axis, Cisco) to select the right products, obtain quotes, and stay updated on the latest technologies.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all proposed designs and solutions adhere to local regulations (Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA, TRA), international standards, and client-specific specifications.
Handover to Project Team:
Provide a seamless technical handover to the project delivery team, ensuring a clear understanding of the scope, design intent, and client expectations.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of
3-5 years
of proven experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical design role, specifically within the ELV sector in the UAE/GCC market.
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of multiple ELV systems, such as:
Structured Cabling Systems (Fiber Optic, Copper)
Security Systems (IP CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection)
Audio-Visual (AV) Systems
Public Address & Voice Evacuation Systems (PA/VA)
Building Management Systems (BMS) / IBMS
Networking & IT Infrastructure
Software Proficiency:
Proficient in AutoCAD / Visio for drawing review and markups, MS Office (especially Excel for BOQs and PowerPoint for presentations).
Soft Skills:
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A customer-centric and results-driven mindset.
License:
A valid UAE driving license is essential.
