As the Prequalification Engineer, you will play a critical part in evaluating, analyzing, and complying to the technical requirements of power utilities products / projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and product objectives. Your expertise will contribute to the successful registration or prescription of products that are essential to maintaining reliable and efficient power supply systems.
Review technical specifications, design documents, testing procedures, and certifications to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications required by the Utilities, IPP and EPC.
Thoroughly review and assess technical requirements for power utilities / projects, including specifications, engineering drawings, and performance criteria mentioned in the Tenders.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in the refinement of internal processes related to technical requirement evaluation, incorporating lessons learned and best practices.
Effectively communicate technical evaluation findings and recommendations to project teams, highlighting areas that may require adjustments or further clarification.
Responsibility for supporting in technical clarification meetings with customer.
Market Research: Stay up to date with technological advancements, industry trends, and emerging best practices within the power utilities sector to inform evaluation processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
6-8 years of overall experience with min 4 years of experience working as a Product Analyst/Product Owner in Utilities domain (T&D: Electricity or EPC or IPP) for approvals or design.
Candidate should have detailed knowledge of Utilities value chain (MV- HV).
Candidate should have experience of analyzing and commenting on customer specification, writing clarifications, and seeking amendments.
