Key Responsibilities
:
- Chop, slice, and dice vegetables to prepare for cooking.
- Portion and prepare meats, fish, and other proteins as needed.
- Prepare sauces, dressings, and other basic components for cooking.
- Pre-cook items to streamline kitchen operations.
- Follow all recipes, food safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed and support overall kitchen operations.
Qualifications
:
- Basic knife skills and experience with cutting and preparing ingredients.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality.
- Food Safety Certificate required.
Experience Level
:
- 1+ year of experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role.
