About the role: As an Associate Partner, you will be engaging and supporting in business development and client relationship management along with overseeing high quality delivery of projects up to and above client expectations. This is a leadership role and will report to the company leadership directly. You assume a great deal of responsibility to manage the entire analytical process, become an expert on the client\'s issues and industry, and recommend solutions that make a real impact. In addition to business development, you will run one to three projects end to end, have full ownership of the deliverables, and assume leadership roles on their team - as such, your team\'s successes also enhance your own personal results story. Exposed to more complex client interactions, this role is a pivotal significant role in influencing senior-level thinking and moving clients to action. You not only provide answers to questions and detail their strategic implications, but you are also encouraged to support our culture of giving back by motivating your colleagues and the firm at large to apply their talents to support a particular social cause. As an leader, you will work with firm leadership team in:
  • Building and growing the practice in the vertical
  • Developing plans and strategies to develop a healthy sales pipeline and achieving the company\'s sales goals
  • Cultivating and creating new CXO level client relationships in your vertical
  • Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads, target identification and classification
  • Understanding the client requirements and then customizing the project scope as per their needs
  • Developing trusted relationships to enable consultative selling, making presentations or pitches outlining our key offerings pertinent to client requirements
  • Building and Maintaining relationships with all potential and existing clients beyond the immediate consulting assignment/ requirements
  • Preparing practice marketing plan and partnering with our marketing team to drive the initiatives
  • Identifying potential partners and support in building the Praxis partner network in ME
  • Understanding the client requirements and then customizing the services as per their needs
  • Tag team with Praxis partners to bring relevant expertise into the delivery
  • Taking a proactive role in drafting proposals, participating in business development efforts, and contributing to proposal pitches to convert pipelines into secured mandates
  • Assuming end-to-end ownership of project delivery, leading impactful teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-lasting engagement, including (but not limited to):
  • End to end ownership of project delivery leading high impact teams to drive customer wow and delight to create lasting impact through our engagement for our clients including but not limited to:
o Securing buy-in from project stakeholders o Managing project scope and delivery o Providing end-to-end client process management o Demonstrating thought leadership by developing innovative approaches, frameworks, and solutions o Delivering high-quality client presentations and deliverables
  • Developing and maintaining intellectual capital, publishing thought leadership on focus sectors to enhance the firm\'s brand
  • Providing guidance and coaching to team members as needed, fostering a professional and productive team environment
  • Mentoring team members, both formally and informally, to foster a high-performance team culture
  • Managing internal requirements for quality, compliance, policies, procedures, and systems
  • Actively participating in recruitment efforts and building project delivery teams within the vertical/ department
Competencies and skills:
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development and project delivery within the management consulting field, with a minimum of 10-12+ years of consulting experience, specializing in the GCC region and possessing in-depth knowledge of the designated focus vertical with a reputable consulting firm.
  • Track record of managing Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities for a sector, value proposition, or service offering
  • Experience with P&L responsibility for a sector/ value proposition/ service offering
  • Robust commercial acumen and a strong desire to cultivate and grow a business with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to research, analyze, and articulate key commercial value drivers.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English (both verbal and written); knowledge of Arabic is advantageous but not obligatory.
  • Capability to comprehend client needs and establish trusted relationships.
  • Quick presence of mind to create sales opportunities
  • Comprehensive understanding of the management consulting toolkit and insight into which offerings and horizontal practices drive commercial opportunities with clients.
  • Competence in crafting impactful proposals for specific projects with a customized approach.
  • Proficiency in work planning, scope definition, and approach formulation for assignments.
  • Leadership skills to guide, lead, and monitor project delivery teams, along with established relationships in the relevant domain with senior client prospects.
  • Comfort with sales in a highly competitive consulting industry.
  • This role involves frequent travel within the GCC and Middle East; candidates should be both able and willing to do so
