Role Overview
We're hiring a
PR Manager
to lead, strategize, and execute public relations efforts across our agency and select client accounts. This is a high-impact role for someone who can craft compelling narratives, pitch stories that stick, and position leaders as national voices of influence.
You will be responsible for developing and rolling out fully integrated PR strategies, managing media relationships, leading thought leadership initiatives, and building frameworks that position our clients - and YAZ Media - as top-tier entities in their sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Agency PR
Shape and amplify YAZ Media's voice through strategic PR initiatives, announcements, and placements.
Develop and maintain bilingual messaging frameworks and agency positioning documents.
Build strong relationships with UAE and GCC-based journalists, editors, and media gatekeepers.
Monitor media sentiment and respond proactively to emerging narratives around the agency and its work.
Client PR Leadership
Act as PR lead on key client accounts, advising on strategy, messaging, and media positioning.
Guide clients through thought leadership development, media briefings, and CSR communications.
Align PR outputs with campaign objectives, brand tone, and regional media expectations.
Manage and coordinate press outreach, interview prep, public appearances, and PR campaigns.
Content & Narrative Development
Write and edit media kits, press releases, speeches, op-eds, talking points, and briefings.
Collaborate with internal creative teams to deliver aligned, impactful PR-ready content.
Support executive visibility across opinion platforms, panels, and CSR forums.
Reputation & Risk
Anticipate and manage reputational risks, advising on media strategy during crises or sensitive events.
Create protocols and internal documentation for media handling, approvals, and brand consistency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A strong communicator with impeccable writing skills in both Arabic and English.
Deeply familiar with UAE/GCC media and cultural dynamics.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in high-stakes environments.
Experienced in public relations for agencies, government entities, CSR programs, or multinational brands.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years in PR, media, or strategic communications (agency or in-house).
Proven record in building media relationships and securing meaningful coverage.
Experience supporting C-level executives in thought leadership and public positioning.
Familiarity with corporate, CSR, and government communications best practices.
