About the role: Baraka is looking for a bilingual PR & Communications expert to implement our communication strategies that will create and maintain a positive public image of our brand. You will be responsible for conducting communication audits and developing campaigns to fit the goals and objectives of Baraka. You will also be tasked with identifying media opportunities regionally, maintaining existing media relations, and promoting positive public awareness of Baraka external communications. Requirements Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing public relations strategies.
• Planning and implementing Baraka\xe2\x80\x99s content partnerships across MENA.
• Promoting and maintaining the public\xe2\x80\x99s perception of Baraka through strategic relationships with the regional media outlets.
• Preventing and addressing reputational risk to Baraka.
• Drafting, editing, and proofreading written, verbal, and visual content.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with Baraka\xe2\x80\x99s stakeholders, media, and vendors.
• Measuring the success of public relations activities and campaigns according to set goals.
• Producing and presenting reports on all PR activities and KPIs.
• Lead in the development and distribution of PR materials.
• Partner with the wider team in content development of our newsletter, blogs and other social media content.
  

What we look for:

• BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a PR & communications officer or similar role in the MENA region.
• Strong media relationships within the region with proven experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
• Excellent in producing engaging content both for our external PR and our internal writing such as blogs and newsletters.
• Strong communication and writting skills in both Arabic and English is a must.
• Ability to show creativity and problem solving skills.
