Job Title: Power Tools Technician / Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual with hands-on knowledge of operating and maintaining power tools used in construction, fabrication, or repair work. The ideal candidate must be proficient in handling a wide range of power tools safely and efficiently, ensuring job completion with high quality and within safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of power tools including drills, saws, grinders, sanders, nail guns, impact drivers, etc.

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on power tools to ensure safe operation.

Understand and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

Cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications using appropriate tools.

Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory management of tools and accessories.

Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines while using tools.

Collaborate with team members to complete construction or manufacturing tasks.

Report any equipment malfunctions or hazards to supervisors promptly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tool stations.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with a variety of power tools in a construction, carpentry, maintenance, or industrial setting.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Technical certification or trade school training is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years in a similar role using professional-grade power tools.

Experience in construction, woodworking, metalworking, or equipment repair.

Knowledge of electrical or pneumatic power tool systems.
